The differences between men and women in terms of pathologies are threefold: ▶️ From a biological angle, the presence of two X chromosomes in women creates a higher prevalence of autoimmune diseases; ▶️ Fluctuations linked to hormonal cycles have a strong impact on the severity of certain pathologies (e.g. migraines, cardiovascular disorders); ▶️ Social and medical biases directly linked to the inadequate training of healthcare professionals in these subjects.
